About Us

The Eisenhower Public Library District was founded in 1973 to serve the communities of Norridge and Harwood Heights. This section of the website provides detailed information about the Library building, directions to the Library, hours and closed dates, a floor plan of the building, where the book drops are located, and a description of the artworks in the Library collection. Information on service policies, our mission statement and strategic plan, an organizational chart, and any available employment opportunities can be found here. A listing of staff and board of trustee members, along with meeting dates and agendas are available for our patrons. There is even a tool to calculate the value of Library services so that patrons can find out how much they save each year by using the library.
