Modern Times Film Series: Wonder Woman

Teen Music Club

Musicians of all levels in grades 7-12 are invited to hang out with friends and geek out about music. During each session, we'll talk about music, write songs, learn some instruments, and make recordings in the Workshop studio. Bring your ideas, instruments, and friends.

Page to Screen Book Club:Bang the Drum Slowly

Every month we'll watch a movie and discuss the book from which it was adapted. This month we'll watch Bang the Drum Slowly after reading the novel by Mark Harris. Copies of the book are available at the Library Services Desk approximately one month before the screening.

Polish Heritage Book Club: Rising '44: The Battle for Warsaw

Join us every other month for an English-language book discussion group focused on literature related to Poland and Polish culture. This month we're discussing Rising '44: The Battle for Warsaw.

One of the most dramatic and shameful episodes in World War II was the doomed Warsaw uprising of 1944-an uprising that failed because the Allies betrayed it. Now that story comes to its full terrible life in this gripping account by the bestselling historian Norman Davies.

After Hours Teen Time: Super 8 and Telescopes

We're keeping the library open after hours just for teens. Bring your friends, to watch a movie, eat pizza, and learn something cool.

Watch a group of kid filmmakers in the '80s investigate the alien creature stalking their town, then search the skies for real aliens with our telescopes.
