Mini Comic Con

Don your cape and tights then drop into Eisenhower to join hundreds of fans at our annual Mini Comic Con, a celebration of the best in pop culture. Have fun with everything geeky: comics, toys, video gaming, television, original art, collectibles, anime, manga, and more!

Visit the artists alley, shop for comics and collectibles, and participate in our costume contest.

Wired to Wear is the first-ever exhibit dedicated to smart clothing and devices designed to extend the human body's capabilities and make us healthier, stronger and safer. Get hands-on with circuit building, analyze a prototype, and build fabricated materials into your own wearable LED circuit band.

Kids Knitting

Grades 4-6. Registration Required.

Join us for a beginners knitting class just for kids! Each week will build on different knitting skills to complete a simple project. Registration is for all three days. Class size is limited. This is a Workshop program and waivers must be completed in order to complete registration.

Adult Book Discussion: At the Wolf's Table

This month's Adult Book Discussion book will be At the Wolf's Table by Rosella Postorino.

Germany, 1943: Impoverished and alone, Rosa has been conscripted to be one of Hitler's tasters: three times a day, she and nine other women go to his secret headquarters, the Wolf's Lair, to eat his meals before he does, protecting him from attempted poisoning. As secrets and resentments grow among the group of tasters, this unlikely sisterhood begins to wonder if they are on the wrong side of history.

Teen Music Club

Music fans of all levels in grades 7-12 are invited to hang out with friends and geek out about music. During each session, we'll talk about music, write songs, learn some instruments, and make recordings in the Workshop studio. Bring your ideas, instruments, and friends.

Page to Screen Book Club: Love in the Time of Cholera

Every month The Page to Screen Club watches a movie and discusses the book from which it was adapted. This month we'll watch Love in the Time of Cholera after reading the novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. 2007. Rated R. 2h 19m.

Copies of the book will be available at the Library Services Desk approximately one month before the screening.

Basic Computer Literacy for Beginners

Board Game Night

Unplug, laugh, and play while competing at classic board games like Monopoly or new favorites like Ticket To Ride, Smallworld, and Nefarious. Kid specific games for those five and older will be available to keep your young ones entertained, too.

Messy Hands Busy Minds

Roll up your sleeves! Let's get dirty, have fun, and explore new concepts! Be sure to wear clothes to get messy in. All participants should bring an adult partner.
