Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Bus Trip: As You Like It at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre

Kids In the Workshop: Embroidery and Sewing Machine

Grades 4-6. Registration Required

The Workshop will be open for a kids-only session with the embroidery machine and sewing machine. Bring your own project in or stop in to learn the basics. Class size is limited. Workshop waivers must be completed in order to complete registration.

Three Chords & the Truth: Slightly More than Basic Guitar

Illinois Military Monuments

Illinois residents have been prominent in every war that the U.S. has been involved in, from the French and Indian War to the current War on Terror. Author Major Lorenzo Fiorentino leads you on a tour of monuments throughout the state dedicated to national figures and lesser known heroes.

2020 U.S. Census Help

Need help filling out the census questionnaire? We're here to make sure you're counted. In mid-March, mailed participation invitations from the Census Bureau should begin arriving in mail boxes.

Drop into the library with your invitation on Wednesday evenings for assistance with responding online, by telephone, or by mail. Have census questions or need additional help? Call 708-867-2299.
