Friends Book Sale

Family Yoga

Ages 5-12 with an adult. Registration Required

Join us for Family Yoga! Kids and parents will have this yoga class together. Mats will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Waivers are required to complete registration.

Music in the Morning

Bring your instrument, your voice, or even a CD or LP to share your favorite songs with other music lovers. During the February 11th session, bring your old CDs or LPs for a record swap.

Modern Times Film Series: On the Basis of Sex

The Modern Times Film series showcases new additions to the library's movie collection. This month's movie will be On the Basis of Sex.

Page to Screen Book Club: Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Every month we'll watch a movie and discuss the book from which it was adapted.

This month watch Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy after reading the novel by John le Carré. 2011. Rated R. 2h 2m.

Copies of the book will be available at the Library Services Desk approximately one month before the screening.

Academy Awards Contest

January 15th (All day) to February 9th (All day)
Think you can pick the winners? Look for Academy Award Contest entry forms in the library and check off your selections from this year's Oscar nominated films. Entries with the most correct answers will be eligible to win prizes. In the event of a tie, prizes will be awarded by means of a random drawing.

One entry per person please. Entries will be accepted at the Answers Desk until 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 24 or at our After Hours Awards Party.

Parent and Child Book Club

Please read and come prepared to discuss Bob by Wendy Mass & Rebecca Stead, as well as to recommend other fantasy books to the group. Copies will be available to borrow three weeks before our meeting date.
