Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Island Within A City Fundraising Gala

A lot has happened since 1989 when we first published Island Within A City, a history of the Norridge-Harwood Heights area written by Thomas McGowen. So in recognition of the books 30th anniversary, were planning a new edition, but well need your help.

On Saturday, April 6th, please join us for a fundraising gala. Hosted by the Friends of the Eisenhower Library, the gala will be your opportunity to experience the library after hours and tell your stories of life in the Norridge-Harwood Heights communities.

Kids Knitting

Grades 4-6. Registration Required

Join us for a beginners knitting class just for kids! Each week will build on different knitting skills to complete a simple project. Registration is for all four days. Class size is limited. This is a Workshop program and waivers must be completed in order to complete registration.

Adult Book Discussion How to Walk Away

This month's Adult Book Discussion book will be How to Walk Away by Katherine Center.

Margaret Jacobsen is just about to step into the bright future she's worked for so hard and so long: a new dream job, a fiancé she adores, and the promise of a picture-perfect life just around the corner. Then, suddenly, on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life, everything she worked for is taken away in a brief, tumultuous moment.

RSVP Tax Assistance

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of West Suburban Cook and Southern DuPage Counties, sponsored by Triton College, offers Tax Counseling for the Elderly, a free program for individuals age 60 and older from low to moderate income households.

Teen Music Club
