Sew-Lutions Saturday

Pen and Paper Tabletop Adventure Club

Grade 5-8. Registration Required.

Grab your pencils and dice! We are going on an adventure without even leaving the library! Find the secrets in the tomb of annihilation and see if you can stop the curse in this Dungeons and Dragons adventure. Registration is for all seven weeks.

Friends Book Sale

Look for the Friends of the Library in the Book Sale on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month to support the library and find great deals.

Classic Rock with the Cowboy Choir

The Cowboy Choir returns with their acoustic versions of your favorite classic rock songs.

Pre-School Science Time

Come explore basic science concepts with your little ones. You and your child will be participating in science demonstrations, so be prepared to get messy!

Teen Music Club

Musicians of all levels in grades 7-12 are invited to hang out with friends and geek out about music. During each session, we'll talk about music, write songs, learn some instruments, and make recordings in the Workshop studio. Bring your ideas, instruments, and friends.

Coffee with the Director

Stop in at Fannie's Cafe, grab a free cup of coffee, and share your thoughts, comments, and suggestions with library director Stacy Wittmann.

Modern Times Film Series: The Big Sick

Basic Computer Literacy Series

Bus Trip: Butterflies and Blooms at the Chicago Botanic Gardens

9:00am to 3:00pm
$45.00 - Immerse yourself in a habitat filled with hundreds of beautiful butterflies. Peek into the pupa room to see butterflies emerging from their cocoons. This exhibition is filled with species native to South America, Asia, North America, and Africa, as well as those native to Illinois. Registration fee includes lunch and tram rides.

Preschool Playtime

Play date! Come see what creative fun we are offering for little ones and their caregivers. We'll offer a few engaging pre-literacy activities each week with a focus on play.

Priority for Kids World programs goes to Norridge and Harwood Heights residents. Siblings under 3 or age 6 may also participate.

Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Kids Write Away Redux

FrogLady! - Reptiles & Amphibians

Ages 12 & under. Registration Required.

Do you know your reptiles from your amphibians? FrogLady will show-and-tell more than 20 live animals that you will meet up close. Some you can even touch! Bring a grown-up to learn some herpetology too.
