Drop-in Toddler Storytime

Introduction to Chess

January 18th,
4:00pm to 4:45pm
Grades K - 6. Registration required.

 If you are new to chess or haven't played in awhile, sign up for this group lesson and meet other kids who want to play. All skill levels are welcome; parents and guardians are welcome to attend and play (as equipment allows). Children under 7 must be parent/guardian supervised.

Registration begins November 7th for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with a valid library card. All others may register beginning November 14th.

Chess Open Play

January 18th,
5:00pm to 7:30pm
Ages 12 & under. Drop in.

Stop by to sharpen your skills and meet other kids who like to play. We will facilitate matching players but the play will not be staff supervised. Parents are welcome to play as equipment allows.

Children under age 7 must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times in the library.

Classic Film Series: Sorry, Wrong Number (1948)

Ancestry Online Series

Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.
