Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Friday Afternoon Cartoons

Ages 12 & under. Drop in. Heat getting to you? Cool off with a relaxing afternoon of cartoon fun during lazy days this summer. Bring your friends, or make new ones.

Friends Book Sale

Look for the Friends of the Library in the Book Sale room on the first floor, next to the Quiet Room on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month to support the library and find great deals. Hardcovers, DVDs & CDs: $1.00. Paperbacks: 50 cents.

Adult Art and Craft Day

Come into Kids World and we will take your photo with your favorite book. Our staff will put your picture on an ALA READ poster background and hang your picture in the children's department. In October stop by to pick up your poster, it's yours to keep.

This week, stop in for And Then There Were None. Based on Christie's Ten Little Indians, ten people invited to an isolated island begin to be murdered one by one. Directed by René Clair.
