Adult Book Discussion: A Distant Heart

This month's Adult Book Discussion book will be A Distant Heart by Sonali Dev.

Kimi grows up in a mansion at the top of Mumbai's Pali Hill, surrounded by love and privilege. But at eleven, she develops an illness that requires her to be confined to a germ-free ivory tower in her home, with only the Arabian Sea churning outside her window for company. Until one person dares venture into her world.

Teen Music Club

Music fans of all levels in grades 7-12 are invited to hang out with friends and geek out about music. During each session, we'll talk about music, write songs, learn some instruments, and make recordings in the Workshop studio. Bring your ideas, instruments, and friends.

Page to Screen Book Club: The Shining

Every month The Page to Screen Club watches a movie and discusses the book from which it was adapted. This month we'll watch The Shining after reading the novel by Stephen King. 1980. Rated R. 2h 26m.

Excel 2016 Series

  • How to maneuver and enter data into cells
  • Excel's different styling options
  • How to use a template
  • The structure of formulas/date ranges in Excel and be able to use AutoSum

Three Chords & the Truth

If you've never picked up a guitar before, start here. Learn basic chords, get introduced to barre chords, and learn to play in a group. Bring your own six string acoustic guitar.

Crochet a Shawl

$5.00 - Crochet a shawl from one cake of yarn. This project is for those with basic crochet skills. The registration fee covers the cost of yarn, crochet hook, and project guide. This class is for adults and teens in 7th grade and up.
