Adult & Teen Take-Apart Lab

October 18th,
7:30pm to 8:30pm
Learn how things work by taking them apart and exploring what's under the surface. This month we'll take apart toys.

Therapy Dogs: Seniors Assistance Center

The Advisory Council of the Seniors Assistance Center presents a seminar on therapy dogs and their important purpose in our ever-changing world.

Come meet Lana and Nellie and their owners Marianne Guinee and John Jackson from Love on a Leash national therapy dog organization. Hear what the difference is between a therapy dog and a service dog. Learn what is required to be a therapy dog and a handler. Discover opportunities or occasions when therapy dogs are able to assist those in need of comfort.

Open Workshop Hours

Stop in during open Workshop hours to get creative. Work on a self-directed project with our sewing machines, embroidery machines, digital media lab, or other Workshop equipment. Staff will be available to help out or offer project suggestions.

Kids Write Away

Grades 4-6. Registration required.

Bring your creativity and get ready to devote an hour to your imagination. We will provide pens, paper, and exercises to flex your inspiration and practice your craft. Let's write away!

Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Crazy 8s Math Club

Grades K-2. Registration required (for the full eight weeks)

Join Bedtime Math's Crazy 8s Club to build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess . it's a totally new kind of math club. You'll get to do mischief-making activities like Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry, Bouncy Dice, and Toilet Paper Olympics. You'll take home cool gadgets, too.

Registration is for all eight classes; note that there is no class October 2nd.

Kids Movie Monday: Descendants 2
