Three Chords & the Truth: Slightly More than Basic Guitar

If you already know a few guitar chords and can move between chords, join Lance Anderson to learn about tabs and rhythms. We'll play songs as a group in every session. Registration is for all six sessions.

2020 U.S. Census Help

Need help filling out the census questionnaire? We're here to make sure you're counted. In mid-March, mailed participation invitations from the Census Bureau should begin arriving in mail boxes.

Drop into the library with your invitation on Wednesday evenings for assistance with responding online, by telephone, or by mail. Have census questions or need additional help? Call 708-867-2299.

U Make: Seeds to Seedlings for Earth Day

Grades 1-3 with an adult. Registration required.

Let's grow food to celebrate Earth Day! We will have seeds, soil and containers to plant a few types of vegetables and flowers. You will take them home (with instructions) to water, sprout and transplant. Dress for dirt!

Anonymous Teen Writers

Volunteer Fair

We are bringing together organizations from the city and suburbs to help you find the perfect volunteer opportunity. By sharing your time and talents you can make a difference in your community. 

Friends Book Sale

Sew an Organizer

Sew yourself an organizer that you can use every day or take with you when you travel. Prior experience with a sewing machine is recommended. For adults and teens in grade 7 and up. Culture of Safety

April 27th,
6:30pm to 8:00pm
Amy Jones and Erin Epperson of Culture of Safety will give you the tools to physically defend yourself so you can go through life with more confidence and less fear. They'll also teach you how to recognize signs of potential danger that can be defused with boundary-setting and assertiveness skills. For ages 16 through adult.
