Kids Write Away Redux

Grades 4-6. Registration Required.

Want to become the next famous author? Join us for one or all three classes this winter! The themes for each class are, "Settings of Your Story," "What's the Plot?," and "Can You Find the Theme?"

Anonymous Teen Writers

Intro to the Sewing Machine

Learn the basics of the sewing machine. You will learn how to thread and use the basic stitch on the machine.

The Elvis Holiday Show

Join us for your favorite holiday songs, Elvis-style, with Chicagoland's youngest Elvis impersonator, Hugo Colin! Bring the whole family for Christmas songs, gospel tunes, and the King's good old rock and roll!

Teen Cooking Camp

In this two-day camp become your own chef. Learn to make pizza from scratch with crust, sauce, and toppings, decorate a gingerbread house, and make a delicious, healthy smoothie.

Look for the Friends of the Library in the Book Sale Room on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month to support the library and find great deals.

Color Your Own Magnet

Drop In. Ages 12 and under. Children under 7 must bring an adult.

Come visit the library to make your one-of-a-kind magnet. Color one of the patterns provided, or draw your own. Supplies will be provided, but are limited.

Adult Book Discussion: The Leavers

This month's Adult Book Discussion book will be The Leavers by Lisa Ko.
