Adult Art and Craft Day

Get creative with a fun DIY craft project. We'll create a variety of projects and introduce library resources that will inspire your crafting habit.

Baby Storytime

U Make: A Maze

June 12th,
1:30pm to 3:00pm
Grades 2-6. Registration required.

Design and draw mazes for our Ozobot mini-robots. The codes and the color combinations that you draw are the robot's commands. Can you make them spin, zoom, dance, and flash? We'll start with specific challenges and races and then end with collaborative free-form designing.

Kids Yoga

Enjoy yoga at the library with a registered yoga teacher. This program focuses on yoga and integrative learning with storytelling. Yoga mats are provided for the class.

Page to Screen Book Club: The Sheltering Sky

Every month we'll watch a movie and discuss the book from which it was adapted. This month we'll watch The Sheltering Sky after reading the book by Paul Bowles. A couple attempts to make sense to their relationship by traveling through Africa. Rated R. 2h 18m.

Picnic Fare: Safe and Savory Al Fresco Dining

Memorial Day launches the season for grilling, picnics, and outdoor dining. Camille Stagg, author of The Parthenon Cookbook shares favorite recipes for appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and other foods that travel well. Samples will be served.
