Anonymous Teen Writers

June 15th,
4:00pm to 5:30pm
Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Kids Yoga

June 15th,
4:00pm to 5:00pm
Ages 7-10. Registration Required.

Enjoy yoga at the library with a registered yoga teacher. This program focuses on yoga and integrative learning with storytelling. Yoga mats are provided for the class.

Registration begins on May 25 for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with a current library card. All others may register starting June 1.

Big Kids Storytime

Lego Day

Drop in every other Monday for popcorn and a family movie on the big screen! Look for announcement of movie titles soon.

Teen Game Night

Don't be "board" during summer vacation. Come by Eisenhower each month this summer for a night of board and card games in the Teen Space. Bring your friends for a round of Apples to Apples, Exploding Kittens, or Ticket to Ride. Have another game you'd like to play? Bring it along or ask at the Answers Desk and we'll try to get it.

Advanced Excel 2016

Pen and Ink Writers Group

The Pen and Ink Writers Group gathers on the third Monday of each month to read short stories, poems or essays, all inspired by a common theme. Build up your writing skills through practice, presentation and positive critique. This month's theme is CRUDE.

Meditation & Forgiveness: Healing the Heart

Life's biggest challenges often involve regrets, worries, and long-held grudges. Join Michael Ribet to explore how meditation deepens your understanding of yourself and others, awakens your consciousness, and connects you to your personal inner peace.

Bus Trip: Discover Fermilab

June 20th,
8:45am to 3:30pm
$35.00 - Fermilab is America's premier physics laboratory. Join us for a walking tour of the famous particle accelerator and main control room, see the grounds from the 15th floor of Wilson Hall, and tour the lab's extensive natural areas by bus. Lunch at Preservation Bread and Wine in Geneva is not included in the trip price. Children under ten are not allowed.
