Learn the Embroidery Machine

Learn to use one of our Workshop tools, the embroidery machine. You will learn the basics of threading the machine and using the computer program to embroider.

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Cut the Cable: Intro to Options

Get an overview of cable alternatives and learn why cable may still be your best option. We'll look at broadcast channels through antenna, cable boxes (without a cable subscription), and the basics of internet streaming devices.

Excel 2016 Series

In this three-part class, learn the basics, intermediate skills, and advanced skills of making spreadsheets with the latest version of Excel.

Teen Music Club

Musicians of all levels in grades 7-12 are invited to hang out with friends and geek out about music. During each session, we'll talk about music, write songs, learn some instruments, and make recordings in the Workshop studio. Bring your ideas, instruments, and friends.

Modern Times Film Series: Marshall

Digitize Your Photos and Negatives

Kids Write Away Redux

Want to become the next famous author? Come join us for one or all three classes this summer The themes for each class are, "Glorious Genres," "Mesmerizing Introductions," and "Dazzling Dialogue."

Registration begins May 25th for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Others may register beginning June 1st. Priority for Kids programs goes to Norridge and Harwood Heights residents.
