Plumbing Repairs

On Thursday, June 28th, a repair crew will be in the library to begin working on a plumbing leak. We hope the repairs will be quick and painless, but please excuse any noise, mess, or other distractions as we work to keep the flood waters at bay. We'll do our best to provide quiet space during the construction.

The Workshop

The Workshop, our new space dedicated to creativity, is now open!

In The Workshop you’ll find sewing, embroidery, and electronic paper cutting machines along with computer equipment for audio, video, and photo editing. And, we’re adding more features to the space all the time.

Sign up for one of the Workshop classes listed in our online calendar or drop in to see what the space has to offer and get your hands dirty with a creative project during open studio hours.

Thanks But No Thanks

Thanks for thinking of us when you have books to donate, but our Friends of the Library group just can't keep up with your generosity. Therefore, book donation will be suspended for the summer. The Friends will be happy to start taking your donations again in August.

Summer Newsletter

The summer edition of our Eisenhower Explorer should be arriving in Norridge and Harwood Heights mailboxes this week. If you haven't yet received yours, or if you live outside of our district, you can browse the newsletter online or drop by and pick one up in the library. We have plenty to go around. We also have plenty of great things to do this summer at Eisenhower, including our Summer Reading Program, a meditation class, a performance by teen Elvis impersonator Hugo Colin, A lock-in for kids, and our annual Mini Comic Con. It's going to be a great summer.
