The library will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th and Thursday, December 25th in observance of Christmas. We'll also be closed for New Year's Eve on Wednesday, December 31st and New Years Day, Thursday, the 1st of January. Have a great holiday season.
Our winter/spring newsletter should be arriving in Harwood Heights and Norridge mailboxes this week! If you haven't received yours yet, feel free to browse it online or stop in and pick one up. Registration for winter and spring programs starts today.
The library will be closing at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 26th and closed all day on Thursday, the 27th in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday. In the meantime, stop by the lobby display case to add to our gratefulness book by writing down the things for which you're thankful.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the company updating our PC reservation and print vending systems is unable to do the work until Tuesday, October 7th. The good news, you will be able to use the computers and printers on Monday. All computers, printers, and photocopiers will be down on Tuesday, October 7th. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes.
All of our computers, printers and photocopiers will be down on Tuesday, October 7th as we upgrade our computer reservation and print vending services to MyPC and PaperCut.
The library will be closed on Monday, October 13th for staff training and development, a day when we will learn about ways we can meet current and future community needs. Fannie Schmoe's Bakery will remain open to serve you delicious coffee and baked treats. Wi-Fi will also be available.
At our 2nd Annual Mini Comic Con on Saturday, September 6th, look for the first edition of Small Packages, a collection of 14 mini books featuring short stories, poems, and artwork by members of the Anonymous Teen Writers Group as well as Eisenhower's staff and patrons. Only about 25 copies will be available.
Look for us between 1:00 and 6:00 pm on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Village of Norridge Farmers Market! We'll be giving out all kinds of free goodies and promoting library events and services.
This year the Market has moved to the Divine Savior parking lot at Montrose and Ozanam. See you there!
