The Village of Harwood Heights is working closely with Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) to reduce flooding in our community and create a Stormwater Management Master Plan. A survey is being conducted to better understand residents’ preferences and identify additional solutions. As a resident, you have the opportunity to make a difference in how your community addresses these problems.
Stop by the library on Tuesday, June 9th between 3:00 and 5:00 pm to fill out a survey and learn more about the project.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve your catalog experience. As you may have noticed, some services are not working properly (or are not available). Be assured that our team is working around the clock to correct the issues as they arise.
As we work to fully implement our new library catalog system, you may experience some temporary outages of our eBook services, research databases, and other online resources. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We're sure the benefits of the updated system will outweigh any glitches we experience along the way.
On April 14th, after more than ten years with the current same system, we are upgrading to a new-and-improved online library catalog.
