Communications Survey

It's time again for our annual Communications Survey. This survey should take no more than five to ten minutes of your time and your responses will help the library to improve the way we relay information to you and the rest of the Eisenhower Community.

Illinois State Senior Spelling Bee

Prospicience... vivisepulture... esquamulose. How's your spelling? Adults 50 and older are invited to compete in our local spelling bee on Friday, March 13th. Champions progress to the regionals and potentially to the final level of competition at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield. register online or by calling 708-867-2299.

Library Closed

Due to the extreme weather conditions, the library will be closed on Sunday, February 1st and Monday, February 2nd. Stay safe and warm and we'll see you once everyone is shoveled out. Until then, why not try downloading movies, music, TV shows, or audiobooks with our streaming media service, Hoopla Digital.

Winter Weather

It seems like winter has finally arrived. We're hoping for a mild season but, in the event of severe weather, the Emergency Closing Center is a great resource for information on Chicagoland area schools, businesses, daycare centers & other organizations, including Eisenhower.

Winter Holiday Closings

The library will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th and Thursday, December 25th in observance of Christmas. We'll also be closed for New Year's Eve on Wednesday, December 31st and New Years Day, Thursday, the 1st of January. Have a great holiday season.
