We’re happy to tell you that, starting today, residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights with Eisenhower Library cards can stream movies for free from Kanopy, the newest addition to our expanded digital media collection.

With its focus on independent movies, world cinema, documentaries, and classics, Kanopy offers a collection of films, difficult to find on other streaming services.

As an Eisenhower card holder, you can borrow up to ten movies each month. Stream videos from Kaonopy Kids or The Great Courses for free. They won’t count against your monthly credits.

There’s a lot to chose from. We recommend anything from The Criterion Collection or Kanopy’s Polish language films, but if you need suggestions, try our Digital Media Suggestion service.
