The Battle of the Books Award Ceremony was held yesterday and officially marks the end of the 2025-2026 Battle season. Trophies, medals, and Certificates of Participation were given out. If you were unable to attend, please see your battle coach to receive your certificate.

We once again extend our appreciation to everyone who helped make this Battle season so great: the Battle participants, the coaches, the parents and caregivers, and all the schools’ staff who promoted the program and the books to their students. Thank you for investing so much of your time and effort into Battle of the Books!

We also extend our appreciation to our visiting author, Alice B. McGinty, who took the time to speak yesterday about the writing process as well as sign books and participation certificates.

As we look forward to next year, we eagerly await to see what books each school will choose for their selection!
