
A lot of great music topped the charts during 1973, our founding year. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Eisenhower Public Library every other Sunday with selections from Billboard Magazine’s Hot 100 Singles.
Jim Croce’s “Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown” was number two for the year. The biggest hit from Croce’s 4th studio album, Life and Times which was nominated for two 1973 Grammy awards in the “Pop Male Vocalist” and “Record of the Year” categories. It was Croce’s final album to be released during his lifetime.
