Browsing Online

While the library building is closed we’re doing our best to continue serving our community with Curbside Pickup and Home Delivery to Norridge and Harwood Heights addresses.

But for our patrons who love to browse the shelves, choosing a book to borrow without being in the building can be a real challenge. For those folks we have a few suggestions.

Browse the Online Catalog

The front page of our online catalog offers suggestions from the New York Times Best Sellers List. There are lists dedicated to new fiction, nonfiction, and young adult books, along with multiple lists of best selling kids books.

Scroll down the page a little and you’ll find links to search the catalog for more new books, movies, and videogames, including our Eisenhower Exclusives. This special collection of hot titles is only available to residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights. They are usually limited to the lucky patrons who happen upon them when visiting the library. Now, while the building is closed, you can place holds on Eisenhower Exclusives in the catalog or, to get them quicker, by calling the library at 708-867-7828.
