CANCELED – Bus Trip: As You Like It at Chicago Shakespeare

As You Like It

In accordance with recommendations from public health officials to cancel non-essential gatherings, this bus trip has been canceled.

Thursday, April 30, 2020, 5:15 – 10:30 PM. $55.00.

In this high-spirited, music-filled reimagining, Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy is infused with the hit songs of The Beatles, lifting the playwright’s timeless verse in beautiful harmony with the immortal music of the Fab Four. Free spirits escape a world gone wrong to a place that promises safe harbor from the corrupt ways of the city. But no one is spared from the hazards of love as the irrepressible Rosalind, disguised as a boy, takes refuge in the forest and gives wooing lessons to the edgy Orlando, who proclaims he loves her.

In-person and phone registration starts February 3rd for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Registration for everyone starts February 10th.

To register, call 708-867-2299 or ask at the Answers Desk.
