CANCELED – Bus Trip: Eris Brewery and Cider House

Eris Brewery and Cider House

In accordance with recommendations from public health officials to cancel non-essential gatherings, this bus trip has been canceled.

Friday, March 20, 2020, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM. $25.00.

As the story goes, Eris, the Greek goddess of Chaos (upset at not being invited) threw her Golden Apple into a party, creating a scene as every goddess in attendance vied to prove herself worthy of the apple’s inscription, “For the fairest of them all.”

Inspired by the legend, Eris Brewery and Cider House threw their own apple into Chicago’s brewery scene by specializing in hard apple ciders. Our tour of Eris will will explore the brewery’s backstory, its building – a one-time Masonic Temple, and its brewing methods. Bring money for lunch after the tour.

In-person and phone registration starts February 3rd for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Registration for everyone starts February 10th.

To register, call 708-867-2299 or ask at the Answers Desk.
