Can you figure out this word puzzle?

On Tuesday, May 10th, Kids World will host a virtual word puzzle challenge for those in third thru sixth grade.

Much like the word game show, letters will slowly fill in and participants are encouraged to solve the word puzzles as fast as possible. Speed will be the name of the game- the faster the participant solves the puzzle, the more points the participant gains towards their overall score. The slower the participant solves the puzzle, the less points the participant gains. All participants get to play in every round, and have an opportunity for acquiring points. Don’t worry if you get too stumped- the computer will slowly reveal letters to help!

The categories for the game are Title, Character Name, Place, and Object. Each answer comes from a book, movie/tv show, or game (board game or video game) in the Kids World Collection. Ready to try a sample puzzle?

See the hints below the category name? This is the title of a series that has games as well as books. Do you know what it is?

Try your hand at more word puzzles. Sign up on the Library’s Event Calendar. Play with your siblings as a group or compete against them- it’s up to you! The more the merrier for this night of fun!
