September 15 to October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month.
Originally created as Hispanic Heritage Week by Rep. Edward R. Roybal and President Lyndon Johnson in 1968, the now month-long recognition honors those in America whose families and ancestors came from Spanish-speaking countries and the territory of Puerto Rico. Enjoy our collection of fiction in both picture book and chapter books as well as non-fiction titles at Eisenhower’s Kids World to pay tribute to the many rich Hispanic cultures.
