CANCELED – Deliciously Fictitious Book Club: Thyme of Death

In accordance with recommendations from public health officials to cancel non-essential gatherings, this program has been canceled. Look for a rescheduled date soon.

Thursday, May 14, 2020, 3:00 – 4:00 PM.

Join us every other month in Fannie’s Cafe to discuss culinary-themed mysteries and sample delicious recipes from the pages of the books.

This month we’re discussing Thyme of Death by Susan Wittig Albert.

China Bayles has it all – a prestigious law practice, money, power – but she wants something more than the fast track offers. Something like the Thyme and Seasons herb shop in Pecan Springs, Texas. So she relocates to begin a more fulfilling life. But when China’s ailing friend apparently commits suicide, China is more than suspicious. Why would anybody want to kill a woman who will die soon anyway?

Copies of the book are available at the Library Services Desk.
