All during our 50th anniversary year we’ve been highlighting some of the top songs from the year that Eisenhower was founded, 1973. We put together a spotify playlist where you can hear all of these classic hits.
Coincidentally, our friends at Hoopla Digital just released a list of albums that are turning fifty this year too. Some of the standouts indlude Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get it On, The Eagles’ Desperado, David Bowie’s Aladdin Sane, Paul McCarney’s Band on the Run, and Elton John’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Of course that’s just the start of a great list.
If you haven’t used Hoopla before, it’s a streaming service available to Norridge and Harwood Heights residents. In addition to all this music, Eisenhower Library card holders can download and stream audiobooks, ebooks, movies, TV shows, and even comic books!
We love how easy Hoopla is to use, but if you need help getting started, stop by the Library or give us a call at 708-867-7828.
