Polish Heritage Book Club: In My Hands

Thursday, October 13, 2016, 3:00 pm

Our English-language book discussion group focuses on literature related to Poland and Polish culture. This month we’re discussing In My Hands: Memories of a Holocaust Rescuer by Irene Gut Opdyke. In 1939, when the Germans and Russians devoured her native Poland, Irene Gut was Just a 17 year old. A girl, really. But a girl who saw evil and chose to defy it.

Ask for the book at the Library Services Desk about one month before our meeting.
