Indu is a boy from the moon who is having trouble fitting in ever since he and his mom moved to New Earth. Balancing a new school, a new crush, and a new home with new family members, all these changes feel isolating and confusing to Indu. After pleading to the moon to take him back, the moon agrees to bring Indu home at the turn of the year.

But while Indu is waiting to return to the moon, he decides to make the best of his last months on New Earth. After making friends with his classmates and bonding with his stepfamily, Indu realizes maybe he isn’t so alone after all. Indu is faced with the difficult decision of staying on New Earth in spite of his struggles, or returning to the moon and forgetting about all the people he loves – forever.
