Christopher Moore returns to San Francisco with Noir, a novel satirizing the titular genre.
Set in 1947, foul-mouthed Sammy “Two Toes” Tiffin is tending bar when a beautiful and crass dame crash lands in his life. Soon Sammy is in love, on the make (with a scheme involving a black mamba snake), and on the run from the local police and a bevy of special federal agents.
Fans of Moore’s graphic language, bantering characters, and madcap plots won’t be disappointed.
