A Special Meeting of the Eisenhower Public Library District Board of Trustees Decennial Committee November 16, 2023.

CALL TO ORDER

President Braun, called the meeting to order at 6:31 P.M.

ROLL CALL

Present: Magnelli, Magnuson, Ringelstein, Ross, Krebs, Braun, Wittmann, Bacarella, M. Tomzik.
Absent: Parent, R. Massaro.
Also Present: Stam (7:01 P.M.), Blubaugh.

RECOGNITION OF VISITORS

There were no visitors present.

PUBLIC COMMENT

There were no comments from the public.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE DECENNIAL COMMITTEE MEETING

No minutes.

DECENNIAL COMMITTEE

Review of Report—
Director Wittmann reformatted the report so that it is easier to read. She highlighted all the additions that were discussed at the last meeting in yellow. She added the Library’s silver LEED certification under awards and recognitions. She advised that she thinks they are almost finished with the report. Director Wittmann advised that she read the Local Government studies on efficiencies. She summed up some of the things in the report with the committee. She will send a pdf of the document to the committee for them to review. She advised that some libraries are starting to share their reports. Trustee Ringelstein asked if the Teacher book delivery can be to the High School also. Director Wittmann said it would. There was a typo in the report that Director Wittmann will fix.

Next Meeting Date—
The Committee will meet again before the April 18, 2024 regular board meeting at 6:30 P.M.

Trustee Ross moved, seconded by Trustee Magnuson, THAT THE MEETING BE ADJOURNED. A voice vote was taken and the motion carried. The Committee Meeting was adjourned at 6:50 P.M.
