Parental Responsibility
The Eisenhower Public Library District is responsible for providing the best possible library services for all users. The library does NOT provide child care. Library staff cannot monitor children or a child’s reading choices. Parents are responsible for their children while the children are in the library.
Children under the age of seven must be attended by a parent or caregiver age 14 or older at all times while in the library.
All children under the age of 14 must be picked up by closing time. If no parent arrives within 20 minutes after closing time, Library staff will attempt to contact a parent or caregiver. If no one is available, the staff will contact the police to provide custody.
