Reports to the Head of Library Services
The Eisenhower Public Library is seeking a Library Services Clerk for the Library Services Department. Library Services Clerks are responsible for direct customer service including checking books out to patrons, checking books in, making library cards, answering the telephone and other related duties.
The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys working with the public and has a good sense of humor. Other desirable qualities would include being highly organized, working well in a fast paced environment and possessing a flexible schedule. Must enjoy working as part of a team. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have one year customer service experience or one year experience working in a public library. This is a part-time position and applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule – including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Must be available the following hours:
- Mondays, 3:00-9:00 PM
- Thursdays, 3:00-9:00 PM
- Fridays, 1:00-5:00 PM
- Every third Saturday
- Every third Sunday
