Part Time Workshop Clerk

Reports to the Head of Library Services

The Eisenhower Public Library is seeking a Workshop Clerk. A Workshop Clerk is responsible for directional assistance and technology support to patrons in the Workshop. In addition, the Workshop Clerk is the primary staff person responsible for assembling craft kits for patrons. The Workshop Clerk will also teach introductory level programs for patrons and library staff.

The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys working with the public, has patience and possesses a good sense of humor. A high school diploma or equivalent required. The candidate should possess two years customer service experience. Other desirable qualities would include being highly creative, organized and possessing the ability to manage several duties at one time.

This is a part-time position and applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule – including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Must be available the following hours:

  • Mondays, 5:00-9:00 PM
  • Wednesdays, Fridays 1:00-5:00 PM
  • Every third Saturday
  • Every third Sunday
