Thank you to all who attended Practice Battle yesterday. It was great to see new faces mixed in with returning players. We hope you are looking forward to the rest of the season as much as we are! Whether you are a coach, parent, or player, if you any questions that were not answered during Practice Battle, please do not hesitate to reach out.

As mentioned, the points earned yesterday do not count towards the season’s overall battle points. Practice Battle is really just a bit of fun to help acclimate players to Battle of the Books. Practice Battle had 20 points available for teams to earn as it has only half of the questions that Battles 1-5 will have.

There was 1 challenge made. Staff are examining the question. It will be announced if the challenge was deemed valid at the start of Battle 1.

Again, no points from Practice Battle count towards the actual Battle season. Every team starts fresh next week for Battle 1. We look forward to seeing everyone next week!
