Aspen Quick can take from you and you’ll never know. Had to much to drink? Take someone’ sobriety. Want the girl? Touch her and take the memory of her boyfriend.

The Quick family uses this special talent to keep the cliff hanging over town from falling. Townspeople leave tokens by the May Tree and whenever Aspen’s grandmother says the cliff is cracking, tokens are chosen and things are taken from the owners until the magic makes the cliff stable again. At least that’s what Aspen has been told.
