Disney started buying up other entertainment companies, two of their biggest acquisitions were Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm. That partnership led to a whole new collection of Star Wars comics published by Marvel.
One of the most critically acclaimed is the Darth Vader series, written by Kieron Gillen, that focuses on the Sith Lord at the height of his evil domination between A New Hope and A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.
The fist two volumes of the series are available to borrow right now as digital comics from Hoopla.
