Meade Creamery is a summer tradition, an ice cream stand started during World War II. Molly Meade made the treat and, since its beginning, it’s been a sisterhood, run by an all-girl staff.
This year Amelia is head girl. She can’t wait to prove herself to Molly, who still makes the ice cream. But on the first day of work Amelia finds Molly dead on the floor of the stand, ice cream melting in the trunk of her car. And then Molly’s grand-nephew arrives to take over the business.
With no one left to make the ice cream and a new boss showing little regard for the girls and their traditions Amelia needs to learn just how far she’s willing to go to protect the traditions of Meade Creamery, as well as her heart.
