Federal and state tax returns are due Monday, April 18th, 2023. An IRS press release contains more information.
Common tax forms are expected to be available at Eisenhower starting in mid-February. More specific forms can be printed at no charge for residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights. There is a limit of two copies per form and one copy of instructions per resident. Patrons residing outside of our district can print forms for 10 cents per page.

If you made $73,000 or less in 2022, you can choose to use the software that’s best for you for free, no strings attached, through IRS Free File, a partnership between the IRS and 12 brand-name tax software companies.
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of West Suburban Cook and Southern DuPage Counties, sponsored by Triton College, offers Tax Counseling for the Elderly, a free program for individuals age 60 and older from low to moderate income households. For an appointment, call the RSVP Office at 708-456‐0300 x3895. Appointments will be available at Eisenhower In February and April.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free, individualized tax preparation for low-to moderate-income taxpayers – especially those 60 and older. Find appointment information at www.aarp.org/money/taxes/aarp_taxaide.
Ladder Up Tax Assistance Program
Through its Tax Assistance Program, Ladder Up offers free electronic preparation and e-filing of individual income tax returns for Chicago-area taxpayers. This year Ladder Up will use a drop-off model. For appointment information, visit www.goladderup.org/wp/our-services/tax-assistance.
