Yesterday’s Battle 5 was the final battle competition in for this season. All of the teams did remarkably well and have a great deal to be proud about.

The Battle Awards Ceremony will be held Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2026 at 4:00pm. We will be visited by the author, Alice B. McGinty, who will share a bit about her writing journey as well as writing tips. She will be signing purchased copies of her books or participants’ Battle Certificate of Participation. If you plan to purchase a book, please be sure to come early to the Awards Ceremony. There are a limited quantity of books available on a first-come, first-get basis. Of course, many of her books are available through the Library if you are interested in reading one (or a few) before meeting her.
