“It’s easier than you’d ever think—existing in plain sight while remaining largely invisible. That’s what I’ve learned from being a maid.”
Molly Gray is a maid at The Regency Grand Hotel. She loves her job and takes pride in her cleanliness and proper etiquette. Molly lives with her Gran who helps her navigate the world since she has trouble with social skills and misreading the intension of other people.
When her Gran dies, Molly is on her own to decipher the complexities of life.
Then Molly finds a famous hotel guest, Charles Black, dead in his room, and she becomes the main suspect. Molly has not completely understood some of the clues that could help exonerate her. She needs the help of friends to guide her through this accusation.
A very clever story, written with many surprises, very enjoyable!
