This story is told in twelve plane flights. Each of the short chapters has as its title an airport departure and destination code (Chapter One, LGW-MAD, Chapter 12, BUD – LGW), beginning and ending in London.
The story moves through its accidentally connected characters, giving each a chapter.
Similar in style to Noah Hawley’s Before the Fall but much shorter, Turbulence is almost a collection of vignettes. This is a beautifully written book I wish had been much longer.
