
Joss is twelve and making her third movie. This time she’s playing Norah, the sister in The Locals, an indie autobiography of her director.
The film is a gritty thing about two kids with an abusive father and the method actor playing the lead role scares Joss to death. Her mother put a clause in Joss’ contract that says she won’t have to play and suggestive scenes, but when Joss reads the latest rewrite, she almost throws up.
