We can’t take bus trips right now but, thanks to the internet, we can explore the world from the comfort of our homes. Every Wednesday, we’re presenting a series of links to cultural institutions in Chicago and beyond. Today visit the The Art Institute of Chicago.
The Art Institute’s Communications, Learning and Public Engagement, and Experience Design teams have been working to develop videos, interactive media, audio tours and more so that art fans can visit the museum virtually.
They are updating their blog regularly with unique articles written by Museum educators, curators, and digital team members.
Now that many parents are now tasked with designing a homeschool experience for their children, Museum educators have also developed a number of art-making activities and creative-writing prompts to spark imaginations into action! These activities are a great way to engage and inspire families through the museum collection.
