What’s Happening at Eisenhower?

Maybe you don’t know it, but there’s always great stuff happening at Eisenhower. For instance, yesterday Bailey Dee and her band put on a show of jump and swing tunes right here at the library. Everybody loved it.

Pretty much every day we put on at least one event for kids, teens, or adults. From multiple film series and book clubs, to bus trips, computer classes, storytimes, and hands-on craft progams.

If you’re interested in more concerts in the library, on April 21st, we’re hosting a performance by The Mello-Tones, a traveling troupe of singing seniors who have been entertaining with their program of old-time favorites in four-part harmony for over 38 years. Then, on May 9th, North Carolina’s Jon Shain will be here to show off his fiery guitar skills, combining improvised fingerstyle piedmont blues with bluegrass, swing, and ragtime.

Check out our event calendar and see if you’re excited about anything coming up in the next few months.
