We deeply appreciate your patience and support as we have been navigating the ongoing health situation, as well as these long winter months (which have felt even longer this time around). We will still be doing home delivery for residents of Norridge and Harwood heights, and also continuing curbside pickup for all visitors.
As we open the doors again, we do so with the following parameters in place.
Face masks must be worn at all times and must remain securely over your nose and mouth. Bandannas, balaclavas, and scarves are not considered appropriate masks. Gaiters must be double folded and remain over your nose and mouth the entire time you are in the building, per CDC recommendations. If you do not have an appropriate facemask, we will provide you with one for the duration of your visit. Please remember that your mask must stay over your nose and mouth the entire time you are in the building.
We ask that you limit your visit to one hour.
At this time, we are limiting patron capacity to 30 people at a time.
Computers will be available to residents of Harwood Heights and Norridge for one hour a day.
Computer assistance is limited to those interactions that still allow staff to remain six feet away.
You can get updates on operational hours and availability through our website, our online chat reference service, our Facebook page, and by calling the library. As the situation changes, we will adjust our opening parameters.
You can also check out our Facebook book discussion group, as well as all of our virtual programs. Remember, for residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights, we have internet hotspots and laptops to check out.
