Y: The Last Man

Y: The Last Man

The first three episodes of Y: The Last Man premiered on Hulu earlier this month with new episodes arriving every Monday.

Based on the incredibly popular comic book series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y tells the story of Yorick, the only male to survive a devastating plague that wiped every other man off the face of the earth. With half the population gone, Yorick will have to travel across the country in search of a renowned geneticist who can figure out why only he and his pet monkey are the only males immune to the disease, all the while avoiding the female extremists who want him dead and the desperate women who want him to repopulate the planet.

All ten volumes of the comic are available to borrow as both graphic novels and Hoopla digital comics, and if you want to watch the show but don’t subscribe to Hulu, you can borrow a Roku streaming device from the library and use our subscription.
